Creating Campaigns
Key Takeaway
Campaigns are tactics your agent drafts under a goal, not something you build by hand. You set the goal (objective, audience, channels), your agent drafts the campaign and starts your cold email outreach automatically, then handles lead generation, verification, outreach, and follow-ups. Paid ads and social it drafts wait for your approval.
Campaigns Come From Goals
You don't build campaigns by hand. You set a goal (from the Goals page, click New goal), and your agent drafts the campaigns as tactics under it. The goal wizard has three steps:
1. Goal
Describe what success looks like. The more specific your goal, the better your agent can optimize its approach.
Good: "Book 15 demos with Portland HVAC companies in Q1"
Too vague: "Get more customers"
2. Audience
Define who your agent should reach:
- Industry: The type of business (e.g., "Restaurants," "Law firms")
- Location: Geographic target area (e.g., "Portland, OR")
- Size (optional), Business size criteria
- Additional Criteria: Any other qualifiers
3. Channels
Pick where your agent should work the goal: cold email, paid ads, social content, or a mix. Your agent only drafts campaigns for the channels you select.
After You Set the Goal
Your agent drafts an outreach campaign under the goal, carrying your objective and audience. It starts your cold email outreach automatically, and if it's still coming online you may get a one-time prompt to launch that first campaign. Your agent then begins:
- Researching leads matching your criteria
- Verifying email addresses
- Drafting personalized outreach
- Scheduling sends within your plan's daily limit (Trial: 10, Pro: 50, Ultra: 150)
Drafts On Demand
Want another campaign without waiting for your agent's next pass? Open the goal's detail page and use the Quick actions: Draft ad campaign, Fill this week's posts, or Draft outreach campaign. Each one queues work for your agent, and everything it drafts comes back to you for review before it spends or sends.
